Michael John Froud Shrimpton (born 23 June 1940, Feilding, Manawatu) is a former cricketer who played for New Zealand, Central Districts Stags and Northern Districts Knights.
He played 10 Tests for NZ, from 1963 to 1974, but did not score a fifty and only took five wickets in his ten games. He has also coached the New Zealand women's cricket team to victory in the Women's World Cup. He is currently the coach for the Sydenham Cricket club (Christchurch) Senior side.
